2017 Activities
Marin Lodge had a great Past Masters' Night on November 14th.
Dinner was prepared by Brothers Tony Tufo and Jacob Sanderson.
Brother David Hammond was raised to the sublime degree of Master Mason.
On this night, the ritual work was also great and a good number of sideliners were present for the degree.

2017 Roll Call Dinner
On October 21st, Marin Lodge celebrated the 149th Anniversary of its founding with its Annual Roll Call Dinner. It was held at San Rafael Joes on Fourth Street. Many brethren and their wives were present. We would like to thank those who were in attendance, some of which traveled a great distance to be here.
Hiram Award Dinner

On September 27th, 2017, Marin Lodge presented the Hiram Award to
Worshipful Brother Victor Adams PM, Secretary of Marin Lodge.
Brother Adams has extended a great amount of effort, by coaching candidates,
by carrying out the duties of secretary and by supporting district Lodges
by attending their degrees and their events.
We celebrated with a fine meal of both baked salmon and steak, salad, vegetables
The meal was prepared by Brothers Jacob Sanderson and Tony Tufo.
Summer Fellowship Nights
Marin Lodge held Fellowship Nights for its members
on most Wednesdays in May, June and July.
Visit to Angel Island
Members of our Lodge and their families participated in the picnic at Angel Island.
Stafford Lake Picnic
We had a great picnic at Stafford Lake in Novato, largely due to the efforts of Brother Jacob Sanderson. The members of our Lodge,
their wives and families enjoyed the food and the games that were held.
Bocce Ball Tournament
Members of our Lodge and their families participated
in Mill Valley Lodges Bocce Ball event in San Rafael on May 27th.
2017 Degrees
On December 6th, 2017, the officers of Marin Lodge conferred
the degree of Master Mason upon Brother Ivan Alikhanov.
Our officers did a great job conferring the degree.
A good number of brethren attended the degree that night.
Afterwards, we retired for refreshments and to celebrate
the occasion.

Mason of the Year Recipient
Our 2017 Mason of the Year Recepient Brother Tony Tufo.
Brethren, I was happy to nominate Brother Anthony Tufo as the Mason of Marin honoree for Marin Lodge.
Brother Tufo is our current Chaplain. He is instrumental in our entertainment and Fellowshop committes. He contributes without question, request or complaint. An example of his great work was with our recent party for our members who turned 80 this year. Brother Tufo arranged the food and created wonderful awards for each of our 80 year old brothers. He is a guiding member on our upcoming 150th Anniversary celeberation. On April 19th, 2017, the officers and brethren of Marin Lodge convened for the presentation of the Golden Veteran Award to Brother Craig Steele who became a Master Mason in June 1967. Our District Inspector, Wor. Brother David Von Bima PM presented the award to him on behalf of the Grand Master. In addition to his years of membership in Marin Lodge, Brother Craig was a member of Marin Demolay in his youth. He later served as an adult leader in DeMolay in Santa Rosa.
