2024 Installation of Officers
We held our Installation of Officers in December. Afterwards we celebrated with a banquet at Chalet Basque in Terra Linda. The food was well received.We enjoyed ourselves very much.
December News
December was a very busy month with our installation of officers, our December stated meeting and our annual holday party that took place this month. We hope that you attended one or more of these events. Several improvements to the member's portion of the Lodge took place. Among them were a new coffee machine and a new water fountain. This is in addition to the updated furniture, television and cable tv that were provided several years ago.
Mason of the Year
During our July meeting, the Worshipful Master Hammond announced that our 2023 Mason of the Year would be Brother Kenneth Del Gobbo. He served as the president of our hall association during the year. He put in many hours guiding the process of getting the roofing project approved by our Grand Lodge and bringing it to fruition. Our conratulations to Brother Ken.
Roll Call Dinner
In October, we held our annual Roll Call Dinner at Cafe Arrividerci in San Rafael.
Updates to the Building and to the Lodge
One of the most recent accomplishments has been the installation of a new roof on our building. The building and the Lodge room seem to be cooler and more comfortable. Hopefully, this is a difference you can experience and enjoy throughout the years.
Lodge Picnic
As is our tradition, we held our annual picnic at Miwok Park in Novato. There were games and plenty of food. Everyone had a good time.
Entered Apprentice Degrees
In 2023, we conferred the Entered Apprentice degrees upon two men in Marin county. Dr. Payam Behradnia and Mr. Joseph Morrison Jr. The degrees were conferred by our officers and were well received. Please welcome these brethren when you visit Lodge next.
January thru November Stated Meetings
We continued to have pleasant dinners at San Rafael Joe's before our meetings. Our meetings have been timely and to the point. Often we have had plenty of time for refreshments and conversation afterwards.
Installation of 2023 Officers
and Holiday Dinner
Our Installation of 2023 Officers was held on Saturday, December 17th, 2022 at Marin Lodge. Our new corps of officers were installed, including our new Worshipful Master, Worshipful Brother David Hammond. We celebrated with our Annual Holiday Dinner at Chalet Basque in Terra Linda.
Brethren, We had a successful meeting of approximately twenty members of Marin and Mill Valley Lodges, in which we talked about new activities, altering the number of meetings and understanding the needs of members. It was a productive and enthusiastic night. We would like to thank Worshipful Tony Tufo for cooking the food. We would also like to thank Bro. Dominic Tufo and Senior Warden David Hammond for their efforts in setting up for the evening, serving the food and cleaning up after the event.
